PARFUMÉRIA ZET

Fragrance families

Green

The smell of snapped stems, leaves and grass. Slightly bitter and dry.

Typical structure

Green leaves and herbs on top, flowers or herbs in the heart, vetiver, moss or woods in the base.

Also known as: vert / green

In many systems green is a sub-family of floral or citrus fragrances rather than a family of its own.

Typical materials are galbanum, violet leaf and petitgrain from bitter orange leaves. Of the notes in our atlas, vetiver, lavender and neroli have a green side.
