While you read

The magazine’s pages write nothing to your browser: no cookies, no localStorage or sessionStorage. We do not measure traffic, run advertising or tracking pixels, or load anything from other servers. Fonts, scripts and drawings all come from parfumeriazet.sk.

The Scent Compass, the Note Atlas, the concentration slider and the ingredient decoder all work on your own device. What you type into them goes nowhere.

On the server side

The magazine is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you open a page, the server records the technical data needed to deliver it and to keep the service secure: your IP address, the time, the address requested and browser details. The legal basis is a legitimate interest in running the website securely (Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). We do not use these logs for profiling or marketing. How long they are kept and other details are governed by Vercel’s privacy policy.

When you write to the magazine

If you send a message to redakcia@parfumeriazet.sk, we receive your email address and what you wrote. We use them only to reply and, where needed, to correct the text your message concerns. We add you to no list and pass nothing on.

Your rights under the GDPR

You can ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for processing to be restricted, or object to it. Write to the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky).
